"Favorites" disappear when copying Outlook.pst file
« on: July 07, 2010, 08:48:31 AM »
I have Outlook on multiple systems and once a week I copy the .pst file from my office computer to my primary home computer so they have the same emails, address book (OAB), contacts, calendar and tasks. This has worked flawlessly over the past 15 or so years for all versions of Outlook - until now.

I recently upgraded to Office 2010 and when I copy the .pst file everything is fine EXCEPT that all favorites in the email module are missing and I need to drag the folders up from the bottom pane and recreate them. The "favorites" view IS enabled and "Favorites" a does appear at the top left, it's simply empty. This obviously isn't a major issue but it is a bit annoying. Wondered if anyone has any thoughts on this. Again, it only happened after installing Outlook 2010 a month or so ago.

Thanks :)
