    « on: August 11, 2008, 10:34:55 AM »
Is there a firewall in Windows 2000professional? I seem to remember the setting awhile ago, but now can't find it....Trying to run Limewire and it says Im behind a firewall and won't connect to the network. But I can't find it...

Do you have Windows Help and Support built in? Try searching for it.

I went into the help section in the start menu and searched all over that thing and the word firewall never shows up..I even searched using filters and things like that but all I found were content filters..

Windows 2000 doesn't have built-in firewall, but you should get one.
This one works, and it's free:
      - Comodo free firewall: http://www.personalfirewall.comodo.com/
Make sure, you download ver. 2.4, since ver. 3.0 doesn't work with Windows 2000.
