    AntiVirus for Mac
    « on: August 18, 2008, 04:34:40 PM »
I just got my first Mac and I know everyone says you don't have to worry about viruses on a Mac, but I'm used to PCs and I don't feel safe running a computer with no virus software. Also, I'm constantly sharing files with people and emailing them back and fourth so I'd like to make sure that if someone sends me an infected file I don't pass it on to another friend.

My question is, what antivirus software does everyone recommend? I know on a PC Norton and McAfee and memory hogs, so I'm sure they probably are on a Mac also. There are plenty of free antivirus programs for a PC too, so I was wondering if there were any good free ones for a Mac.

Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks.
