I don't think, it's possible to answer such a question. Different people use different skins for number of computer related features: browsers. media players, etc.
It's like about a car with certain color you like, but I may prefer different color.
Babylon just feels comfy to me.

Well, I liked the old colors a lot better, but at least with this adjustment to the white, it doesn't hurt my eyes anymore, so I guess I can't complain.

CTRL + Shift + R  does the same.  

Actually, it could be a little lighter.

Truely speaking i don't like the SMF default theme. Please upgrade to a good looking theme for SMF.
