running windows vista home premium - intel core 2 duo t9300 @2.50ghz, 3.00 GB ram, nvidia nvs1400m video card, discrete graphics with a bunch of free memory for video
my windows dvd maker was running fine, and then after a couple of installs of some codecs, some uninstalls, some installation of programs and uninstalls, i must have lost my mpeg2 encoder. when i try to run windows dvd maker, which came with my copy of windows vista, it comes up with the following error "mpeg2 encoder is missing" to run this program, a valid encoder needs to be present.
this was probably a result of installing and uninstalling codecs in the search of a perfect compressed video image =P in any event, i liked windows dvd maker and now it doesnt work!
does anybody else have a similar problem, and is there a fix for it?
