I was wondering???Internet Explorer/Firefox

Hi, I want to know if u have two kind of Browsers, let say Internet Explorer and FireFox, if u work in  firefox then why the histroy of internet explorer shows all the work u have done in firefox.why we have to clear the cache of both the explorer.

What Operating System are you running?
What version of Firefox and Internet Explorer are you using?

well i was using IE7 and Mozilla FireFox. But right now I am using only Firefox no other explorer is installed. OS windows XP proffesional service pack 2.and now i am not facing such problem but i was wondering it was so.

I don't think it is possible because Firefox and IE are two very different browsers, and their way of saving Internet History isn't the same.
