Ok I looked and it shows a grey box with N/A in it and I clicked on CPU 0 and CPU 1
and I got the same on both

and its only about 1yr old now I think.  Had zero problems up until now.

I did uninstall MySpace IM and Skype to.  That has improved it quite a bit.

My dvd is wonky.  Do you think the lazer could be dirty and that I need to clean it so it can better read the disk?

I tried a game disk and it loaded it but the back grounds in the game were non existent.  It wont load a movie disk at all now.  When I first posted it started the movie then froze but you can see that its trying to read the disc

Lasers get dirty. Not common after 1 year of use, but it may happen. You can try lens cleaner.
What bothers me is the fact, that none of the programs, we tried, is able to read your computer temperatures. It's pretty new computer.
Just to summarize, what is your main complain about the machine?

Well my main complaint is that something is wonky LOL  I know that isnt very descriptive.  but there are times when it freezes or becomes sooooo slow that I think that its frozen.

Sometimes when I reboot or turn it on it freezes part way through loading Vista

I have gotten a few blue screens.  but my main worry is the strange starting up and the dvd not working or freezing

There is something wonky but not exactly sure why or what.

it wouldnt download the last item I am trying it again.

I borrow a lot of dvds from my local library instead of renting and they are always filthy with finger prints.

I wish I could better explain what is wrong but I do know that its improved since removing skype and MyspaceIM

but the dvd is still not working
