Internet Explorer problems

OK, When I try to log on to Internet Explorer I get an error message saying(Internet explorer cannot display this page). But when I open a link saved In MY FAVORITES MSN opens with no problems. I can go to any other site but MSN. I tried to refresh, Reboot, ran virus and spyware scan, cleaned out my files with CC Cleaner. No luck, I thought maybe the site Is having problems but why does It work when I go to my Favorites and press on the link.I have Internet explorer 7 and running windows XP home. Thanks.

So when you start Internet Explorer, the homepage doesn't show?

Can you try Mozilla Firefox?
(just see if its a problem with IE or the computer)

Yes homepage  will not appear. Just started doing this when i logged on this morning.

I suggest trying a System Restore to maybe two days ago.

I shut down my computer and met my son for lunch, Came back home booted computer same thing. Did some maint to my car came back and its working fine, I think It was MSN Site.

Are you sure everything is alright now? A virus could have caused it, but don't be worried.

Did you try to reset IE?
