.....exe is not a valid win32 application!!! error
    « on: August 25, 2008, 03:47:07 PM »
hello again, I just can't get enough of you guys  ;)
    I have 2 questions:

1st Q: I just formatted my laptop because I had the  "Operating system not found error" the people who fixed said that it just needed formatting, was that the right answer to that error??

2nd Q: after formatting I couldn't download anymore!! all my downloads keep cutting in the middle and giving me this error message "C:\program files....exe is not a valid win32 application" it was just formatted so I don't think that I have a virus or something!!

I have windows XP SP2, I use IE as my browser (and I don't want to change it to firefox  >:()

    thnx..

      How do you connect ?
      Wireless
      Router involved
      Direct

I'd still DLoad and try Firefox anyways if you don't want to use it...it will determine if this is an IE issue...
Can you get email service ? ?

As patio said, download Firefox, and we'll se, if this is browser problem, or something else.

As Bron said, try it. You don't have to keep it.

I have to tell u again that my laptop was brutely formatted so there might be an installation software that windows need!! I downloaded windows installer...
right now after the format my computer is back to IE6 and I want upgrade to IE7 but I can't...I want to redownload it but the comp saved the old download so whenever I download again it says "download finished" how can I delete it from the memory so I could download again??!?

(do I need Adobe reader to all this tuff?? cuz I don't have it)

also I have problems installing MSN live messenger, it downloads ok but when it comes to the installing part it gives me a little red x without giving me any error message..

            PS: I'll give firefox a shot  :-\
