Ok, first of all, what are you wanting to print in a larger size?? And what program are you using to create/load your text document.  You could just change the text size within your document. Like in Microsoft Word or whatever program you are using.

I don't know why this question was even asked, because it really makes no sense if you think about it.

Normally it should print at the size set up within the file you submit for printing.

If a word doc for example with a 12 pt font - that is what the printer should reproduce.

Unless you have some obscure postscript settings I'd expect usual true type fonts to print as per the document in which they were used and sized.

If useful - what printer - what document/documents??  Etc

If want larger printing fonts then set that in document methinks.

Ain't technology great - until it goes wrong!

The only case, when printer will print different font size, than in original document, is if paper size is set incorrectly. Other than that, printer doesn't control font size.

I agree with other comments that font size is normally controlled through whatever software application you're printing from, but you might try this.  Go to Control Panel, Printers and Faxes, right click on your printer and select Printing Preferences, if available.  Take a look there for any setting that might affect your printing.  You might need to experiment with settings, but make note of your original settings so that you can return to them if necessary.

Where are you seeing the paper size, in your software?

No software! I get the same result no matter what or where I print. Everything I try to print Is so small I can hardly read it. As far as how I got page size-I went to printing preferences.

Please disregard the above - it is not reflective of the attitude of the majority of posters on the Computer Hope forum.

Check your manual - is there a front panel manual override for font size?

EDIT: Is this a new problem? Has the printer ever printed in the 'right' font?

Glad to hear you have a result.

Tho print scaling should not normally (IMO) be necessary - does seem here you have found your fix.  :)

I read this post with interest hoping it would solve my problem, it did not :(.  My os is vista ultimate, when ever i try to print a page from goole maps ( or any other map site, eg multi map, google earth ) the map never fills the page, it prints as a small rectangle in the centre.  After reading this post, i downloaded printpunk, made no difference, i contacted them, they did not reply.
                         So any ideas?
