Tho print scaling should not normally (IMO) be necessary - does seem here you have found your fix.

I read this post with interest hoping it would solve my problem, it did not .  My os is vista ultimate, when ever i try to print a page from goole maps ( or any other map site, eg multi map, google earth ) the map never fills the page, it prints as a small rectangle in the centre.  After reading this post, i downloaded printpunk, made no difference, i contacted them, they did not reply. 
 So any ideas?
