This is a link to a small site on one of my servers, which I created long ago - it's fairly basic, but - it occurs to me that for many who are newer to computers and digital imagery, there might be some useful information to help them along.
It covers many aspects of images, explaining the color model, the basics of binary and hex and several approaches to image editing and enhancement etc. It also explains elements of scanning and printing and includes some basics on photography techniques.
It was originally put together as a help file for a guns forum and so uses some images that were relevant at the time.
