AC_RunActiveContent.js error message

I recently had to reload my computer and now, when I surf the net, I'm getting the following message on some (but not all) websites:

Windows Internet Explorer
This Page Requires AC_RunActiveContent.js

I was originally running Win XP SP2 with IE 6.0.  To fix the above problem I updated to Win XP SP3 and IE 7.0.  However, the updates did not solve the problem.  I have searched the net for a solution but the only thing I can find relates to site developers. 

I have ensured that Active Scripting is enabled for my browser.

Does anyone have a solution for me?

It's most likely web page problem.
If they didn't install Adobe Flash Active Content Update extension (info: http://kb.adobe.com/selfservice/viewContent.do?externalId=7c29e252&sliceId=1), you'll be getting the above error.
Just in case, see, if your Flash is up to date: http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/welcome/

Thanks for the info.  I updated Flash but the problem continues.  While it could possibly be the sites problem, I somehow doubt it.  The website is a major international site so I doubt they would forget such a key step.  I emailed their help desk and they said the problem is at my end.  Any other suggestions?

I have noticed the problem on only one site so far and it is www.lavalife.com.  When I view the site as a non-member I can't reproduce the error.  I can only get the error message to appear when I'm logged in.  I talked to a friend who is a site member and she does not receive the error message (she's running Win XP).  Strange and frustrating.

If it's just one site, and on a top of it, it can't be checked without logging in, it's hard to advice, but I rather stand by my initial response.
Did you try Firefox there?

I am having this same error message when I access my Photobucket account. It never happened before just a few days ago.

I use Windows XP and Mozilla Firefox.

I did recently have an Adobe update.
