    HELP!! NT Detect Failed Help!!
    « on: September 08, 2008, 05:18:07 PM »
NTdetect failed comes up as Windows is loading and it keeps restarting after the error message.

I cannot start in safe mode at all. I have the original OS disk, but when I loaded it and pushed R to repair all i get is a command promt and not a place to type admin password but anyways i type in the lines
    COPY X:\i386\NTLDR C\:
    COPY X:\i386\NTDETECT.COM C:\
where X is the drive letter for your CD drive.

then once i type those in all i get is a message saying the files are missing
