Why are my internet pages coming blur??????

i am using winxp and recently from last week i am having problem with my internet pages.  when ever i browse a site the picture quality of the complete internet page is very low and it is blur that i cant even read anything neither can i see the pictures.  pictures are almost distorted.  my Friend has sent me a presentation o present but i could see in the internet so i i tried downloading but it was same and i had to go and use a comp from the cyber cafe and download.  after getting it from cyber cafe the presentation is working fine with the pictures but only i am having problem with my IE i guess so.  please can anyone help me.  though i am software engineer but we are also sometimes dumb and please help this dumb guy that is me.

    i think this is virus... so you clean virus using antivirus

    i think this is virus... so you clean virus using antivirus

    I doubt it's a virus...
    Power down and remove all power sources to the computer.
    Remove the video card and clean the contacts with a pencil eraser or a swab with rubbing alcohol.
    Re-seat the card firmly and re-boot...
    If it still does this re-install your browser software...

    BTW you're not dumb at all...it's just something you haven't learned yet...
