FSB 667MHz vs. FSB 1066 MHz
« on: October 07, 2008, 11:35:19 AM »
I am looking at 2 different computer for possible purchase.  One has an Intel Core 2 Duo Processor T5850 2.16GHz with 667 MHz FSB.  The other has an Intel Core 2 Duo Processor E7200 2.56GHZ with 1066MHz FSB.  Obviously the 2nd one is faster, but how much faster?  Yes, I know the 1st processor is primarily used in notebooks... these are both all-in-one computers and I am trying to figure out if it is really worth the extra bucks.

Note:  I play World of Warcraft on it, and do some video editing.

It doesnt make sence to use a notebook for what you are using a computer for.Your limitations for upgrades are alot better with a desk top.

Yeah, I agree. Better go for the desktop if you want to have a long investment.  :D
But still, a notebook with a FSB of 667MHZ is really moving!  :o
Did he say it was a notebook, or a desktop with a notebook CPU?  ???
He wants great video. Very hard to upgrade a notebook video, I don't think you can! For what he wants, the video system has to be top notch or the RAM speed is just wasted!  ;D
