im sorry ok my start window works fine it comes up when i click on start but if i choose any program from the list or on my desktop a pop up window comes and  ask me to run or don't run. I click run then the IE comes up and immediately goes right back to the run or don't run window. ???

When did it start? Did you do anything specific to your computer at that time?
The more info you provide, the more help you can get.

Every time, you make any changes to the registry, you must restart for changes to take effect.
