Doesn't look too bad although looks a lot like Vista (not that it's a bad thing). Just hope they're putting more into it other then just re-branding Vista (updated).

Will hold off on opinions though until I actually get to play with it.

It will use Windows Surface touch-screen technology in the future. Most monitors will not support it at first though.

Huh. I always thought of the touch-screen technology as a gimmick myself. What would you use it for?

Heh ok. But just curious if you've got a real reason behind using it. I really can't think of a practical use for it myself, which is why I've always thought of it as a gimmick.

Okay, sorry. I'm just after getting a touchscreen phone, so I'm a bit crazy about touchscreens now... ;D

It would be cool though to forget about the keyboard and the mouse... Just the monitor....

I'd disagree with that. Looking at how messy my keyboard is I could only imagine how messy a monitor would get with my greasy fingers all over it. :) In addition attempting to type anything of great length or quantity on a touch pad would be a nightmare unless of course it was the size of a traditional keyboard. But still believe it'd be pretty difficult.

The touchscreen on a phone is admittedly pretty cool, however unless something comes out that makes it practical to use I couldn't see the technology really taking off on the PC.

Covering the Presidential election on CNN ::)

I don't think there will be a market for it in the home use category for a while.

irony. You get fired up when you hear about others running pirate software and yet your going to be running an unreleased OS.
