    5.1 speakers...

    hey all, yesterday i noticed that my middle speaker in my surround sound wast working in media player... but the weird thing is if i test it in my realtec program it works fine so its not blown or anything and i have checked all of my volume things and they all look fine......advice???
    intel i7 4930k with corsair liquid cooling
    geforce GTX titan 3gb super-clocked
    corsair 16gb ram (2x8gb)
    intel 120gb SSD
    gigabyte x79-p4 motherbord

        media player doesnt always take advantage of all the speakers. i have 5.1 surround and when i use media player for music, it only uses the left and right speakers; however, when i play a game, the game takes advantage of all 5.

          thanks for the reply i tryed going into a game (call of duty 4) but the middle speaker dost work still but all the other four do work

            The middle speaker might be damage or the connection is loose, check it out and try using it again.

              i thought this at forst too but the cable looks fine and when i goto test all of my speaker they all work fine even the middle one...

                i figured out what was wrong the balance was off and the middle wasnt getting any sound all fixed now
