Back up in external HD of pics in my Kodak software
    « on: November 16, 2008, 08:55:03 AM »
Hi all, I would like to send my Kodak pics to a folder created in an external HD but with Kodak software program there appears to me to be only 'burn to disc' option. Once pics are backed up, I may then be able to delete from pc or at least not loose them like last crash that I had to format HD. Any help appreciated. Thanks.

You should be able to "manually" copy the pictures from their existing folder to the back up folder by using Windows Explorer.  You can "drag" the pictures from their current folder to the destination folder.

You may also want to consider a different image program for photos such as IrfanView (FREE ) ....

I do have Irfanview too and I love it for reseizing. The Kodak software has some plus values as well though and downloading from camera into Kodak software works well. Thanks though for reply.
