What is launching the file(s)
Well - either something in the “StartUp” or something in the registry. Sure enough, something in the registry! Close up your browser first (you may need to print these instructions or save them onto a notepad/word file to reference.
1 - To remove this thing completely first: go to the registry (Start | Run | “regedt32″) Then: highlight the very top level in the list “My Computer.” Then choose Edit | Find | “xtgoj6119471″ …once it finds the first entry delete it and go to the Edit | Find Next | …and delete all the remaining entries found with this reference. I found most of these entries in the HKEY_Local_User. When the whole thing is clean repeat the process with the other file called “runhh6110411.”
2 - Once that’s complete go to the “Task Manager” and look for the same filenames within the “Processes” tab. If they’re running - kill them. If not then move on to next.
3 - Finally delete these two files from the “C:\Documents and Settings\Your Name\Application Data\Google” directory and that should get you all cleaned up.
4 - Nasty, bad, nastyware!!! Remember to reboot.
