PC133 could potentially work, if and only if it is backward compatible.
Late in SDRAM's life (when DDR and RDRAM came out), some manufacturers began cheaping out by making their SDRAM not backward compatible. I found that one out the hard way in 2003 when I bought some PC133 RAM for a machine with an 800 MHz (100 FSB x 8 Multiplier) processor. I was wondering why it wouldn't work. The motherboard supported PC133 RAM. In the end, the label on the RAM's packaging explicitly stated not backward compatible!
