    Windows 98 add new hardware

    ok so i have been working on an old win 98 and trying to get it in working order and i was installing some hardware and it said this file had and error ( the one used for add new hardware) so i found it on line and reinstalled it BUT now it doesn't work at all... would reinstalling windows 98 fix this i would really like to know.



    well any usb devices actually before this error happend all my usb devices worked but know they don't, this is a Packard bell multimedia 4350 but it has an extra 100MB of memory installed a while ago

      turnered10,Could you please provide more info on the computer. What was the hardware you were trying to install?What is the current state of the computer that  you "are trying to get it in working order"? More info is  likely to enhance your chances of assistance. truenorth
