    help with terminal (leopard)
    « on: December 19, 2008, 09:49:44 PM »
I type in sudo -s and immediately get the request for my password but then it does not allow me to type it in - curser just stays put.    What am I doing wrong?

It seems to me that your issue is that you're using the switch ("-s") which tells sudo to use the already logged in user's credentials.

It might help if you tell us what exactly you're trying to do.

If you don't mind, would you please post your solution here in case anyone else has a similar issue to yours?
