Mouse not loading consistently
« on: January 31, 2009, 05:47:36 PM »
It seems that every other time or so that I boot my computer, the mouse does not load.  If I reboot, it usually loads without a problem.  I have tried searching the forums, etc. but it seems most issues are with the mouse not loading at all.

I have an HP Pavillion, running Windows Vista.  The computer, mouse and the works are about a year old.  I have not upgraded anything recently to cause hardware or driver conflicts.

Any help would be appreciated.

I would suggest updating your mouse driver.

    1. Go to Control Panel--> Double-click "Mouse" to open Mouse properties.

    2. Click the "Hardware" tab-->Click "Properties".

    3. Go to the "Driver" tab--> Click "Update Driver" and follow the instructions.

    Hope that helps....
