I use a Netopia gateway. I know it's different for each type but a general idea would be nice.

      open cmd and type
      Code: [Select]
      ipconfig /all
type the IP address given after gateway, into IE or FF and you should be in your routers setup page. somewhere in there will be the history of the router.

Thanks but I already know how to get into my router page. Thing is I can't see anything about router history when I get in there. What heading would it go under?

Look through the routers manual, physically or on the manufacturers page. It may be that the router doesn't have a history, mine doesn't.
