We cannot offer advice on 'illegal' things...
However...where do you live? (NOT for stalker reasons...for regional law reasons.)
For in some places in the world...they allow backup/archive copies of the originals.
However the programs I know of are not free.

back up copies of my dvds.

A Backup copy is a legal copy under very limited conditions.
It is only a backup. I can not be used unless the original is
damaged. Of course, the backup would have to me made before the original is destroyed.
Like he said, this forum does not give legal advice. You have to find out what the law is in your area. Roxio is a copy that makes DVD burning software. They say that it is legal.
So you may want to go to their site and see what they say.

If you get into trouble, don't blame us.

The laws are different in different countries.
      As for US:

Strictly speaking, your "fair use" rights permit you to make a personal back-up copy but do not permit you to strip digital encryption (with AnyDVD or any other program for that matter) to do so. As a result, in strict legal terms, your "fair use" rights are useless since 99% + of all commercial dvds have CSS encryption.

No I am not asking for anyone to tell me how to make illegal copies. This is why I asked if there was any legal programs.

I will look into the links provided. Thanks for the help.

My apologies, I did not mean to offend, understand that developers tend to jump to piracy quickly since it is so rampant.
