    Transferring game saves
    « on: February 22, 2009, 01:23:29 PM »
I know that with most new games you can transfer a save to another computer by going into that game's folder, but some games (particularly old ones) don't show saved files in that folder. Does anyone have any idea where the saved game is being stored and how I might transfer it? The game I'm having the problem with is Hydro Thunder.
Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Have you looked in My Documents?

The saved games/settings would either be in the same directory as its program files or in a folder in My Documents.

Could also be in AppData (which is hidden), or Common Files in Program Files.

Any idea how to make the files in AppData un-hidden?

Go to Control Panel > Folders Options > View tab. Be sure to uncheck again if you find the files.
