    Ipod Power Requirements
    « on: February 12, 2009, 08:35:10 AM »
    Hey,

The main point of this post is to see if this charger will work for my ipod (pic below)

    lSolar energy board: 5.5V/80mA
    lPolymer battery: 1350mAH
    lOutput voltage: 5.5V
    lOutput current: 1000mA

It specifically says it works on iPod's, but you know, this isn't a solio or anything, it's just a cheap charger.

I don't know enough about power requirements and what happens if you're over or under them.
I took a look on google, but wasn't sure how to put it. Anyone want to take a shot at explaining it?

    Thanks

As long as your iPod can charge by USB, it should work fine.

USB is 5.5V, and so is your iPod.
