Attempts to get work are failing.

For the past two days, neither of my two computers have been able to get a work packet.
Has anyone else had this problem?

The log shows this:

Firewall? Or maybe some sorta flag got set?

No firewall except the Widows firewall and it should not be the flags because it has worked before and I have not changed the configuration.

Which client is this?
The standard single core one?
Sometimes the folding servers run out of work packets to send out.  Try restarting the computers and/or clients if you haven't already.

I've encountered this issue a few times as well I think it usually is something to do with their end, either server not responding or too busy. Often waiting can resolve it and/or sometimes simply rebooting the computer will resolve it.

I am using the singe core client and have restarted the clients and the computers.
It is still not working today.  I have had this problem before but usually it just lasts a few hours.

I just noticed that attempts three through five did connect to an assignment server but could not send a HTTP request.  All the other attempts could not connect to an assignment server.

Hmm I'm still imagining that it's likely something to do with the Standford servers having issues. Lets see if it resolves itself by tomorrow. I have a computer that should be completing it's unit soon I'll see if I encounter the same issue.

I just got a work unit on one of my computers.  I will try to get a work unit on my other computer later.

Ok. Well that's good. So likely was something with F@H servers. My computers that just completed units also had no issues getting units recently.

I was able to get a work packet on my other computer also.
It failed six times and gave the work packet on the seventh try.
