Confused With Internet

 ???Ok, when i try to open ie on my laptop it says somthing like.. "Waiting for reply or responce"on the bottom left of the window so i thought my internet wasn't working, but ! when i play starcraft on the same comp online... it perfectly fine.  ???Before i downloaded this software on the other comp. called Spykiller S&D the internet worked fine, but then i did full system scan then i did clean all or somthing then it didn't work after.  ???So if u have answers please please i beg u HELP !!

try system restore the cleaner may have deleted some file that maybe needed...to check internet connections try ping-----------as in www.bbc.co.uk it will return an answer like 32bits sent packets lost 1 or 2 50% returned..or some think like that...
