Did I ruin this hard drive?

I was formatting an extra hard drive, I think the whole thing was partitioned, and I deleted the partition.  Now my computer doesn't recognize it.  How can I fix this?

Deleting the partition is normal... Do you see any error messages when you try to boot up? Or should I say this... What makes you think that the computer can't find the HD?

I had it in another computer, trying to see if I was having a hard drive problem in it when I did this, and it wouldn't show up after I did this.  I put it in this PC, and it wouldn't show up on this one either.

check your cables two comp cannot be wrong also your setting on the drive your jumpers

Agree...if you have a system floppy disk with dos files, including FDISK, it's a piece of cake...just run FDISK, create the active partition and then format the drive...easy for me to do after learning the hard way a few years back.
