    Basic Command For C64 Disk
    « on: March 24, 2009, 11:37:18 AM »
My father said that there was a way to pull up the name of the program on the disks if you didnt know it.  I tried google and havent found anything an my books but it dont say anything about path, verify or anything.
Windows 7 RC Tester.  Working on it.  Your monitor says etchasketch on the side!

If I fall who is there to pick me up now.  I stand alone but I stand as the gaurdian for whom I wish to protect.  The sound of my blade utters my name as you fall.  For I shall not move.  For those that forsake the very people are wosres

I'll try that as well, thanks it seems to be a better reference compared to what I was useing an good of google.  Wont be able to say if it works right off but at least I can check other disks then if it all works out.

unless he has DOS on there or is it just the original C64 OS?

yes yes- of course, the c64 stored files in a special "$" file.

it didn't display anything, because you have simply loaded it.

you also need to type LIST to list it.
