    won't update vista

    My updates are piling up.  No error message.  Just a little box telling me to reboot because the updates were not installed.  Followed a number of advice paths, but no updates will install. I now have 22 updates stacked up. :-[ I am a beginner, embarrased and humiliated.  Even just a link to the solution will help.

      Have you tried to go to Microsoft update and downloading and installing one of the updates manually?

      If this works I would keep doing it one at a time until you find the update that fails than post the update number here.
