    itunes not opening up

    My itunes won't open  I am afraid to uninstall it and reinstall it because I have so much music d/l d already . I am afraid of losing my  music. So my question is Can I uninstall and reinstall and not lose the 5 days worth of music I have d/l from cd's

      Itunes doesn't remove the music library after you uninstall it. It will still be there in:

      My Documents > My Music > Itunes

       ;)

        Macdad-Thank you so much. i will give it a try i didn't think it would remove the songs but wanted to double check thanks again. Hey i have another question If I have a rewritable c.d. DO I need to reformat it to rewrite over it . if so how do I do that? Thanks for all your help

          If there is data already on it and there is some free space then no you will not have to format it, but you may have to delete some files off of it to make room.
