    Forward slash key giving hash

    When I use forward slash key in my computer it is giving hash sign. Can any one give a solution to this problem ?

    Change your Regional Settings in Control Panel --> Language and Regional Settings.

    Also if possible, borrow another keyboard from somewhere to rule out a faulty keyboard :)

    Another possibility is to use the numeric key pad.
    Hole down the Alt and type 47 and release the Alt key. /

    This is a workaround, not a fix though :)
