Welcome Carbon Dudeoxide
« on: April 26, 2009, 12:26:01 PM »
Would like to welcome Carbon Dudeoxide to the team, who just completed his first unit. He also mentioned to me in IRC that he's got 4 machines going. Thanks.  ;D

Mind you, comparing to modern computers, they're pretty weak. Lol.

Anyways, glad to help. ;)

Well......An updating problem with my antivirus caused my computer to crash, resetting my 1100/1500 back to zero....

This computer has been running for two days straight since I installed F@H. This was it's first cycle.
I was looking forward to completing it....

*sigh*

My condolences.  I hate when that happens!

I've lost a work unit, here and there, too.

Who knows, that protein strain I was folding could have been the cure to cancer!  :o

Strange that it was reset to zero ... normally a checkpoint is saved at least every 30 minutes, I always set mine to 3 minutes so I don't lose as much work.

I've got 6 computers running F@H now. I managed to persuade my parents that it's for a good cause and that they wouldn't notice any performance impacts, which I haven't btw.
