Word 2003 templates/Macros installation?
« on: May 21, 2009, 04:18:32 AM »
Hi Folks,

I have been given a macro for use with Word 2003 and the instructions are to paste it into the 'Application Data>Microsoft>'Templates' folder.  However, I can't find these folders on my PC despite selecting 'show all files/folders' and doing a full search.
I'm running Vista Home Premium SP1 and MS Word 2003 SP3.  Can anyone offer any advice as to where I am supposed to put this thing?
Thanks,
Fred.

The folder "Application Data" is a hidden folder. You have to change your settings so you can see hidden files and folders.

To see hidden files & folders do the following:

    1) Go to the folder where the hidden file is.
    2) Go to tools > Folder Options > View > Scroll down and check "Hidden Files & Folders"
    3) That will show the hidden folders. They will appear in a light shade.

    Hope This Helps,
