new media machine

its been a while since i have built a new pc { p3 dont laugh}. i am not a gamer . i want a machine with blu ray and a video card that has a pvr, hdtv and an hdmi out . will probably run vista for now . not up to date on new processors and motherboards but i dont need high end performance just a system that will go on line record my local hd tv and play my blurays . any help i would be thankful

first of all before we get into actual building of pc, what is your budget? How much are you willing to pay for your new system before you're gonna think it's getting too expensive?

my budget is pretty open. like i stated i dont need the latest and greatest just somthing that will handle my needs
