Give 1 vote for every OS you use regularly...this includes 1+ OS computers, work computers & laptops. Running an OS in Virtual Machines does not count.

Example: Joe uses XP at home on dual boot with Vista. At work he uses Win 2000. And he has 2 laptops, one with Mac OS X and one with Vista. If he uses all computers he'd vote: 1 for Vista, 1 for XP, 1 for Mac OS X and 1 for Windows 2000

98, ME, XP pro, Vista Ultimate 32, Windows 7 Ultimate 64, RC1

And, oh yes, my favorite, Windows XP Ultimate 32, SP3 with the Vista Look.

XP Professional X64 on my main machine, XP Professional on the family machine, XP X64 or Pro on my laptop (nothing at the minute) and Server 2003 on my server (oddly enough).
I use Windows 95, NT4, 98SE and 2000 occasionally, also I'm trying to make time to properly test out Linux, Vista and Windows 7.

But I'm going to make my own OS called "the blockHEAD OS"....and it's going to be so grand...............heh, maybe when i get into Linux I'll compile and submit a "blockHEAD" distribution

Dell shipped Vista on an installation disk with the machine that had XP pro loaded.

I don't know how to run both XP Pro and Vista at the same time?

You can install two OS on the same machine and select which one you want to boot during startup. This normally involves installing each OS on a separate partition of a partitioned single hard drive or on two different hard drives. This is called a dual-boot configuration.

I currently have 3 main PC's.
A Win2000, XP Pro (on 2 of 3) and a Vista Basic.
In a month i'm ditching the Win2000 and going to Ubuntu (Linux).
Has anybody tried Ubuntu....did you like it?

Ubuntu is nice ...and fairly solid.
But not fully matured as yet.

I would suggest DLoading the Live version and run it on your machine to see how it goes befor installing it...

I imagine they're trying to hide the whole "mounting" metaphor, since some people get offended. "I have to WHAT to my drives? I don't have the energy for that!"
