    microsoft.net framework
    « on: June 18, 2009, 07:06:22 AM »
    Hello all,

Sorry for the silly question....................however; what is microsoft.net framework?

Also, in my add/remove programs, I have several versions,
    A)microsoft.net framework 1.1
    B) microsoft .net framework 1.1 hotfix
    C)microsoft.net framework 2.0 svc pack 2
    D)"                                    "3.0 svc pack2
    E)"                                     "3.5svc pack 1

Is this something, that I need, if so can I remove the older versions and just keep the 3.5??

    Thanks,

    kpac

.NET Framework versions installs independently, which means, different programs may need different NET versions.

No, not really. They're not that large programs anyway, so they don't take up a lot of space.

No, not really, Every now and then I will go to my add/remove programs and clean it up a bit.
