Win 98 laptop how to connect to internet?

I dont know how to connect my lap top to the internet plz help
Remember the 6 R's to troubleshooting
Retry, Restart, Research, Reinstall, Restore, Replace

You'll have to manually configure the wireless adapter to connect to your access point.

Click on START>settings>control panel>network>configuration tab

For starters, there should only be three items in the window: Client For Microsoft Networks, TCP/IP, and your network adapter (what ever wireless adapter you happen to be using)

What do you see in the window? 


edit: You'll probably need your windows 98 set up disk too.
