    « on: July 15, 2009, 09:56:13 AM »
I have a video clip that is  0 . 99 GB in size

Would I be right that this is not even 1 GB yet??

If something is One Gig would it not say 1 . 00 GB

You may as well consider it a 1 GB file, since it is only a hundredth away from 1 GB.
Technically, though, it is not a 1 GB file, as Carbon has indicated.

I have a progress bar, that says 99%. Is it done?

I have 99 cents. Can I buy something that costs a dollar?

99 people are going to a watch a movie. Should we get 100 tickets?

Did I not agree with you, here?

In terms of file size, I'm not going to think, I only want .99 -- give me a gigabyte of space.
