    Internet Explorer?
    « on: July 23, 2009, 12:26:27 PM »
I started using Google Chrome & I really like it. I also have Firefox. My question is can I safely get rid of Internet Explorer, delete it completly? It's crap anyway! How do I get rid of it, if I can?

No, don't do that.  Trying to remove it is not a good idea since it's rather tightly integrated with the Windows 0S.

Nobody is forcing you to use IE.  Just ignore it.  But, if you want to make it appear to be uninstalled, go to Control Panel, Add or Remove Programs, select Add/Remove Windows Components, and select IE for removal.  This does not actually remove IE program files but remove icons and shortcuts to it.
