I did some googling and the max you can set it to is 1600x1200x32 @ 85Hz, so you really wont be able to get anything bigger then a 20" unless you upgrade your gpu

Yeah, I just need my screen to get to at least 1024x768. I don't really care to get my resolution higher then that. It would only be a bonus. Thanks though.

The screen goes black to prevent damage from occuring, overdriving the guns can be fatal for a monitor.

Great catch computeruler, thanks for that.

Ummm... I really don't know. I have two discs. One that says Empire Earth and another that is Empire Earth: The Art of Conquest. I've been getting into computer games slowly lately so I don't know too much about them.

The second disk is the expasion pack to empire earth.  Your computer should be able to run it.  But check the link provided just to be sure.

That link doesn't include the game in question, just Empire Earth II and beyond.

Yeah I tried it for Empire Earth II and it said fail on the video card part. The parts of the video card I failed were Video HW Transform & Lighting and Pixel Shader Ver.

Most games I'm trying pretty much have me fail at the Video HW Transform & Lighting part.

Those games on there are a little newer though.  That game you are trying to play is from around 2002 and has very low system requirements

I double checked the specs for Empire Earth and version 1 does require 1024x768.

I thought there might be a patch for it, but apparently not.
