my computer freezes up just seconds after opening and continues thru all ops. Try to watch a movie and it freezes seconds at a time, everything.

        Opening? Ops?

What exactly happens? Please be more specific.
What are you doing when it freezes?
Does it start up at all?
        Can you access safe mode?
        Have you tried a recovery?

Have you kept up with housekeeping, have you blown out the dust with compressed air recently?...Are your fans working well ...Are they caked in dust?

It is starting to heat up some but it does it when I first turn it on and boot up if I don't hurry before I punch up IE.
