Is there any way to change the refresh rate on my yahoo email?
I just want my yahoo to check for new emails quicker when it's idling.

Take a look at this Yahoo Mail Notifier add-on for firefox. I see you can have it check mail at specified intervals and so if you want it to do a check every minute, you can do it.
