    Blue Screen repeating
    « on: August 15, 2009, 09:31:04 AM »
I have been getting the blue screen over and over. Sometimes it will go a week before it happens, sometimes a couple of weeks or days. They say different things. One time it said:
A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer.
    The technical stuff comes next:
    Stop:0X0000002W(OXOO1904AA,OXB3CAC6BC,OXB3CAC388,O X8O7C1F6)
    Ntfs.sys-Address 8A07C1F6 base at 8A06C000,DateStamp 47918a96

    Collecting data for crash dump
    Initializing disk for crash dump
    Beginning dump of physical memory
    Dumping physical memory to disk:100
    Physical dump complete

It also talks about restarting and running scandisk.

    Another time it said:

    IRQL Not less or equal
    Stop: 0X0000000A (0X00000054,0X00000018,0X00000001,0X821CDFE9)

    This time it said:

Check with your hardware vendor for any BIOS updates. Disable BIOS memory options such as caching or shadowing.
    Stop: 0X0000007E (0XC0000005,0X8206EFA8,0X8AD83C18,0X8AD83914)

I have an Acer Aspire 320 g hard drive, 3 g RAM, Dual processor.

    Thanks.

As I said in your duplicate post, I've never heard of a 2W error
