    Hello i have this problem i hope you can help with. i got some problem with overheating i think when i play games like Crysis or arma 2 on the highest settings my graphic card can get up to 75 - 80c and then it gets these weird graphical dots all over the screen making the game freeze instantly then i have to restart my computer. i think my power supply is broken because it makes very high noises when it start it haven't done that before. can a bad power supply help the temperature rising ? thx

    my specs:

    Nvidia geforce 9800gt 1024 MB

    2046 MB ram

    amd athlon 64 processor 4000+ 2.6 ghz

      75c - 80c is a normal temperature for a 9800GT under full load.
      If your PSU is making strange noises, it is time to change it before it damages anything if it dies.

        my graphic card recently got up to 93 degrees ! :( should i change the psu do you guys think it can help on the graphical problems that happens :O ?

        my 9800GT gets up to 97c, no issues... Crysys crashes for a different reason, all other programs/games work fine.
        I was trying to dereference Null Pointers before it was cool.

          well okay :D but its still weird i will try take a picture and upload it in

          i added a pic where it says the temperature ill add one of the graphical problem soon :O
