DEP error on Internet Explorer 8

I'm running Windows XP service pack 3 with Internet Explorer 8.  When I try to run Internet Expolorer with add ons, I get a DEP error.  I've attached the logs below.  Can you help?

from the command prompt type
notepad C:\boot.ini
and carefully change where it says /NoExecute=OptIn to
/Execute=OptIn
make sure to leave evreything else along
save the file and reboot
